Andrew Jackson in 1845

Andrew Jackson was the seventh President of the United States (1829–1837). Born in what is now the border between North and South Carolina, Jackson served in the militia during the American Revolutionary War.

Jackson reportedly wrote a letter in which he referring to smoking marijuana with troops during military conflict.[1]
