Chuck Ream

Charles "Chuck" Ream (born 1946) is a cannabis activist. Born in Three Rivers, Michigan, he was later elected five times as a trustee of Scio Township, both as a Democrat and as a Republican. In 2004, he “retired” to spearhead the Ann Arbor medical marijuana campaign successfully. He formed the Safer Michigan Coalition (along with Time Beck), uniting Michigan's cannabis activists.[1]

In 2014, he received the High Times Lester Grinspoon Lifetime Achievement Award at the Medical Cannabis Cup Awards in Clio, Michigan.[1]
