French Guiana, officially just Guiana, is an overseas department and region of France, on the north Atlantic coast of South America. It borders Brazil to the east and south, and Suriname to the west. By land area, it is by far the largest overseas department and territory of France. As an overseas region, it is inside the European Union, and its official currency is the euro.

Cannabis Legislation

Details on the country's cannabis laws are sketchy but one report of a court dismissal due to lack of evidence suggests the plant is illegal in French Guiana. [1]
