Quantum Kush is a hybrid strain of cannabis, crossed between Sweet Irish Kush and Timewreck. It was first grown by TGA Genetics and was the company's first strain to pass the 30% THC threshold.[1]

Description

Quantum Kush is 75% sativa and 25% indica. It is tall and triples in size during the flowering phase. The strain produces heavy yields and should be harvested around 56 to 63 days. Its tastes earthy with "Kushy" and sweet undertones, but does not have an overpowering scent.[1]

Effects

According to TGA, "The ridiculously high THC is offset by significant CBG and THCv levels and a complex blend of terpenes to bring on a deep, thorough mellow that lasts and lasts and lasts. The effect is extremely strong and long-lasting, but without any of the jitteriness or paranoia often associated with massive amounts of THC." TGA describes its effects as a "strong, clear-headed mellow that gets down in deep and persists a good long while", and is more suitable for relaxation than during activity.[1] Leafly recommends Quantum Kush for combating appetite loss, nausea, or depression.[2]

Reception

Danny Danko included the strain in his list of "The Top 10 Strains of 2014", published by High Times.[3]
